Today my friend who works at a Public school in Gyeonngi Province was harassed by two teachers. They followed him down the halls of the school yelling "Who do you think you are, this is not your home. You are not a Korean. Who do you think you are." The they shouted "leave our school, we don't want you here," and "you are just a foreigner to us."

Then as usual in Korea they lied to the administration and the administration in return demanded that my friend apologize for causing a raucus. Now, my friend is the most quiet and sophisticated person I know and is from a really great family and would never ignite a fight or whatever they accused him of. We both went to the same college in Canada and he was liked by everyone and never known to be trouble in any way.

He really needs to get out of this school but right now plane tickets to Canada are super expensive. Anybody know of good travel agents or airlines with cheap flights?

Singapore airline on Sept. 15 or 17, - 718k (taxes included) Incheon to Vancouver - one way, non-stop.

I think I would take a dump on the take a dump on the teachers desk that did that before I left. Seriously, tell them to take it up to the Gyeonngi board of education.

One of the teachers pretended to be so nice to my friend. She went shopping with him and everything. Then SURPRISE, out of the blue, she started screaming at him IN FRONT OF STUDENTS. She did this with another teacher. They of course created some absurd lie.

I feel bad for my friend and worry about him. And I feel bad for the people who are so cruel. God help them.

I'd stay at the school, but keep my camera (with movie function) handy.
