My grandma has had a thyroid problem now for about forty years and she has no reports of hearing bugles either, nor strange noises for that matter. |

Sounds like it could be fun!
Tommorow I will try to take a closer look and more pics since the place has me curious. Looks like this is a good pre-Halloween thread starting! |

| I believe in ghosts, or at least the possibility of ghosts. Having said that, when someone swears they've encountered a haunting, the odds are better than not that it's all in their head. My advice to the OP is to see if other people can hear it. If they can, it's real. If not, maybe try getting a little more sleep/discretely seeing a shrink/whatever. This sounds like fun though. If others can hear it and it's not hobos, you should totally explore the place with some Korean psychics and sell the story to that Discovery Channel Haunting show. |

| Your neighbors or coworkers might be able to tell you a little about the history of the place, and might let you know what sort of stories are floating around about it. |

| With all the chemicals in the groundwater that sent the residents of that apartment building fleeing, you probably are hearing a lot of noises. |

I didn't have time to ask any of the older people living around the neighborhood today. But it looks like some sort of a military stockade. I took some pics and it was once again getting dark. I took about 10 pics but only one came out. This is looking down a very long corridor. There was no wind at the time but I could hear pans or the like rattling from inside.

At least we would get some good stuff for a film script....
Bunch of ESL teachers holding a Halloween party in the ROK at an abandoned barracks.... things turn dark when they decide to lay a dare/bet to each sleep alone in the rooms off the corridor. Everyone puts 100 000 into a can, the money to go to whoever didn't run away screaming (or is still alive) at 7am Nov 1. ......Then it gets sinister.... But which one of us was the Horror? And was it all just for the cash, or was there something more? What really happened on that site....... |
