Sorry for another pension question, but I haven't found the answer to this one. I am about to apply for the lump sum pension refund. I was wondering if this affects my American Social Security. If I apply for a refund, will I have to give money to Social Security when I get home for the months spent working here? I read a thread from someone who was surprised by this when they got home and had to give a large amount of money to the SSA. I've only been here for five months, so I don't have very much paid to the Korean pension anyway. I don't want to apply for a few hundred dollars here, only to have to pay more once I get home.
