The US didn't start the war. The US was just reacting to what was going on.

The us didn't start the Iraq war. It was New Zealand, we were bored as there wasn't any rugby on that weekend.

You seem to be rather deluded.

Lack of Rugby is not sufficient cause for a war.

There must have also been a beer shortage.

Saddam shot at US planes and tried to kill a US president and he continued to threaten Kuwait.

His regime also supported terror and incited violence

You seem to be rather in denial.

Where were these planes (I'm guessing not in the US)? How far did this scheme to kill the president go (further than our attempts at assassinating him)? And we care about Kuwait, why?

Yeah...he also stockpiled huge amounts of wmd, had chemical weapons manufacturing capability, was frequently prone to flamboyant use of the double negative, didn't know one single verse of any post ww2 show tunes and was the chief conspirator behind the Chappell brothers 1981 underarm bowling incident. Hang the [email protected] late, decimate his country and people! America Phuck yeah!

So what. Futhermore those planes prevented Saddam from persecuting his minorities.

He failed.

IF the US went after Saddam it cause he wouldn't quit his war.

would have made Saddam more powerful and the expense of the US, and cause Saddam would have used Kuwaits oil to invest in weapons.

The US would have been crazy to allow Saddam's Iraq to have become a powerful country at the expense of the US. Saddam had no right to Kuwait and the US didn't have to let him have it.

Of course the mideast would be less important if the US was able to free itself from oil, but stupid people like Ron Paul not oppose gas taxes but oppose government support of alternative energy programs. Go figure. Rolling Eyes

Jesus, there are some stupid journalists in this world. Rolling Eyes

They're Drager tubes. Test kits, not weapons.
