|
|
Okay, so I'm considering buying a PMP but I really don't know anything about them. I'm only really looking for something to watch videos on on the subway/bus/plane. I don't need any other features, or a large hard drive (do they even use hard drives? Or memory cards?). I would use my iPod to watch videos but the battery barely lasts 6 hours (so, about 10 minutes for video) and it's full of music anyways.
How much would your basic portable video player cost? And do I have to go to Yongsan or Technomart to get the best price? I hate shopping for electronics in Korea since everyone mistakes me for a high school exchange student and no one takes me seriously - I'm pretty sure I always get the price for dumb foreigners who don't know better! Are there any good websites (in English), even international ones, with good prices that will ship to Korea?
TIA! |

Yeah, I found that thread before I posted... I was looking for some additional info, like cost and the best place to buy. I wouldn't have posted if my questions had been answered here before. |

If you're quick you can still get an i-Station V43 before they are taken off the market. If all you need is video/audio then don't bother with a newer PMP which will cost 500K plus. The V43 is 2 years old now but it's a damn fine machine, I know because I've been using one for nearly 2 years now. They can be had for around 280,000 in Yongsan or on Korean websites like Enuri.com if you have a Korean friend who will buy it for you. |
