Is there a way to decrease or increase all the font sizes in a document by one point. For example. I have a title that is 18 point Arial and text that is 14 point Times New Roman. Is there a way to (in one shot) decrease the fonts to
16 point Arial and 12 point Times New Roman without highlighting and changing the font for each separately? Thanks

Well, if you used styles (heading 1/heading 2/Normal etc), then change the style under Format | Styles and Formating. Change the style and anything tagged with that style will change to the new font/size.

If you did it all manually, then you can try Edit | Replace. Click the More button in the dialog box. Then click the Format button. Select Font. You can now use that to search for one font size and then replace with the new font size.

Don't put any other text in find and replace dialogs.

Then replace all.

Remember to do this from highest to lowest.

So change your 15 pt font to 16.
Then change your 14 point font to 15.
Then change your 13 point font 14.

If you do it the other way:

You change your 13 point font to 14. Oh. Now you have two groups of text both at 14 point.

If you didn't use styles, go back and learn how to set titles with the style tag. Makes things way easy.

word 2007 has font up/down buttons.

so highlight the text (even if they're all different sizes) and click down.

if you're still on 2003, and did your sizes manually, you may just need to take a few minutes and adjust your fonts section by section! Sad
