Are you bald-headed? Why or why not? The reason I ask is I have noticed on several threads such as CubanLord's "How hawt are you?" thread as well as another thread where people discussed and created Simpson renditions of themselves that many folks who post on here have no hair on the tippy top of their heads. What's your story?

Not sure if I count. I have a healthy hairline but I shave my hair down to about a centimeter every couple of months. Saves a lot of time in the morning and gets me into all the right places back home. My dad's hairline has receded but he's not exactly bald so I'm not worried either. |

Ditto this, my dad has a receding hairline, but not at all bald. I will be the same, so no probs. My older brother is completely bald. We did kind of take the p*ss out of him for it for about 10 years now. So pleased that I won't get comeuppance on it. |

Started shaving my head when I was 20 because I thought it was the best look for me. Have been doing it ever since, but my hairline has kept right on receding, so I guess it's a good thing I like having no hair. Well, that and a healthy dose of self-confidence (or indifference, whatever)... |

I have a shaved head and a big beard and I started to shave my head because I was going bald at 21.
Now I shave my head almost everyday. |

well, i've gone with the shaved head for about two years. i had loads of longass curly hair during college. eventually i saw it was starting to thin out so i buzzed it all off. it looks better and it's way easier to deal with.
hey, one day it will all turn gray and then i'll look like captain Picard. awesome.

Shaved my head once and ended up in a Charter Center.
Not likely to do it again. |

I am totally going to shave your head next time we meet. Your students will love that. |

Maybe this is just a myth, but I always heard that baldness was inherited from your maternal grandfather. |

Shaved my head shiny for years, but in Korea people thought I was a GI, so now I have a full head of hair. Showers really don't feel the same. |

I've heard that too, but my mother's father has a full head of hair (a bit thin, I'll admit, but far from bald). |

1 in 10 children are unaware that the person they call father is not really their true biological father. Sorry, it was time you knew. |
