Funny. My Brother in Law swears by them. He's got at least two pair.
Black and Beige for sure.
His comment? You've got a pool. You gotta have Crocs.
YEA, makes sense to me.

Saw them back home this summer and kept wondering how Korean ajumma fashion managed to make this particular inroad.

I saw them last summer in the states everyday while working at a shopping mall. Mostly women and children wore them, but a few men wore the black ones. They look OK to wear to a swimming hole, on a river float trip, or at a BBQ.

These shoes remind me of those Dutch wooden shoes worn centuries ago in Holland and made as tourist souvenirs today.

Certainly not for dorks, Bondrock. I might have looked like I was wearing toilet shoes outside all summer, but I was COOL. Cute blue ones.
I have always thought Crocs were terribly ugly. They make your feet look bigger and they were originally designed for gardening and boating. But these new style Crocs in your pic are actually cute. I saw a Crocs shop in Hong Kong, but they didn't have these cute ones. Only those ugly, buffoon-looking ones.

I worked at a marina for a few years and several years ago the store manager ordered crocs when they were first starting. I thought she was nuts, they were ugly as sin and $30. They ended up being a huge seller, we were constantly running out of popular colors and sizes and the crocs company couldn't keep up with the demand (they must not have expected them to actually sell). They're really great for boating because they float and they don't leave scuff marks on boats, and people tell me they're really comfortable. I ended up being the only employee not to buy any. They were just too unattractive to me.

The originals are pretty bad, but they've got some cool styles now.

INCORRECT. IN THE END YOU'RE STILL WEARING A GAY BALLOON ON YOUR FEET.

i mean seriously. if you're over 30 and you're wearing dippy dave matthews-band pillows on your feet you're either dumb or stupid.

get some self respect. dried play-do sculptures stoppped being cool when you were 8. if you tied burlap sacks full of horse shit to your feet, they'd be comfy too. only you'd look like an asshole and smell worse.

Then you'd be shocked to see half of the college girls wearing them. Or at least that was the way it was last semester.

Yeah, we went to Dartmouth in NH for a business trip a few months ago and 80% of the students were wearing them.

Crocs are and have been Walmart shoes. An abhorrence that should only be used to walk their wearers into gas chambers.

I would say "No offense" to those of you who like them or have family members who like them, but I was already offended by the existence of Crocs, so screw you and them!
