I had brunch today at a place called Suji's in the Hyundai Dept. Store food court at COEX. 19,000 won got me:

2 pancakes made from scratch with powdered sugar and real maple syrup
4 pieces of bacon - a little thin but crispy the way I like it
2 pieces of crunchy whole grain wheat toast - good stuff!
home fries - not bad
scrambled eggs
bottomless coffee
ketchup, Tabasco, butter, jam

Damn it was a good meal and a meal that I'd been craving for some time. But can I find this meal for cheaper elsewhere? Or will I be forced to shell out 20,000 won for a good brunch meal every time? If I must, then I will...

Suji's also has a location in Itaewon that I think is bigger and nicer.

Yeah, problem is that I don't have a home yet. Wink

And I like going out for brunch on the weekends...it's nice to get out. Cool

Typically overpriced korean version of what they think is good foreign food! go to itaewon next time. I recently came back from thailand where for 100 bhat (about 3000 won) you get

Bacon
Sausages
Eggs
Fried bread
Black pudding
Doorstep toast
Beans
Tea or coffee
OJ

Man.. i can't wait to get back to a country that serves proper food at reasonable prices.

Yeah Sujis doesn't have the best price. Check KT/KH, they have ads for a couple pubs in Gangnam that have sunday brunches for 10,000ish.

Wow, i'd be ashamed to admit i dropped $19 for such a shabby brunch. You seem to be reveling in it.

For the same price you could have eaten at a buffet with much more selection and quality.

The really thick variety. Eat one of these breakfasts in the morning and you are set till dinner time at night. not bad at all for 3 dollars.

That's why she posted, she's looking for advice on specific places where she could get a better deal. If you know a cheaper place with more selections then why don't you tell her instead of giving her sh*t?
