How much are tickets upon arrival? (Not in advance - not prepay)?

From what time to what time is the event? Particularly on Sunday?

Alright, I just talked to my friend Sunny to get some more information.

The tickets are the same price if you pay in advance or at the beach.

Since this festival relies on waves, they have to be flexible with the schedule. After all, if there are no waves, you can't surf. The general schedule will be as follows

Friday 11 am - 3 or 4 pm with events and activities thereafter
Saturday 8am - 3 or 4pm with events, activities and a party on the beach thereafter
Sunday 8 am - 3 or 4pm with events and activities thereafter.

Sunny said this on Sunday there will be free surfing lessons, so if you ever were curious to learn or just want to borrow a board and have some fun, Sunday might be the day to go...

I wish I could be more specific but the festival is at the hands of Mother nature Smile

COOL.

I'm going to a wedding Saturday afternoon in Busan, so the international surfing competition coincides perfectly with this trip.

Thanks for posting the info.

You are very welcome. I will be there for the whole festival, so I'm sure I'll see you there. I think I sort of stand out from the crowd, so feel free to say hi Very Happy

I supplied two links at the bottom of my original post. The links go to pages that are all in Korean, I'm afraid. However, if you have a specific question you call my friend Sunny. Her number is also in the original post.

I am glad there is a surfing festival at all but let me just laugh....

Hahahahahahahaaaaaaaa...what surf??????

A surfing festival at haeundae...that is all good, but don't you at least need about 50cm waves to even make a surfboard move.

i suppose those of use from Australia are spoilt by the surfing conditions we have but that is laughable. I wouldn't even get my body board out for a thrash at haeundae.

This is my third time at the festival and there are waves to surf. I'm not a surfer or hell even a swimmer, but they manage to move from point A to point B without having to paddle the whole way....

I was on the beach a few weeks back and, to tell the truth, I've made bigger waves in the toilet!

hahaha Laughing You, dork!

I should probably explain that the surfing doesn't take place at the main portion of the beach where everyone frolics in the water in their t-shirts and shorts...The section that people surf at does have waves bigger than cangel can make in the toilet...Not that I even want to know how big those waves are, Cangel Laughing
