Monday morning QB. Did the US mess up more than a few times during the cold war ? Sure, . nevertheless the cold war was correct , the US had no choice but to fight it , and got the better of the Soviets. |

This is where you miss the point. It is not about being correct, justified, holier than thou or anything like that.
If you do not study the history of the 'enemy' and the reasons for what they are doing, or the history of the region then you are putting yourself in a situation to repeat that history.
If you spend your time dressing things up as bad vs good, instead of studying the reasons for the conflict then you will make bigger mistakes.
There is a reason all the best QBs spend alot of time in the taperoom. |
