I was quoted 550,000 for a newly built computer in yongsan. I'm wondering if I'm getting screwed or if this is a reasonable price. This was from the first place I stopped, everyone else in the I-park place quoted me something similar.
AMD 3400 CPU
1 G RAM
160 G Hard drive
DVD writer (multi, as they say)
19 inch LCD monitor
english windows w/office
some sort of video card, can't remember what exactly
delivery to my home in incheon + keyboard/mouse/speakers |

It is an average price. Nothing special but not too bad for a retail place especially since it includes the 19" LCD monitor AND delivery.
If the video card was decent - Nvida GT7600 - 256 MB / similar or better then you are smiling. |

CPU w/ Mother board $70 - $100
Memory 1 GB DDR $55
160 GB H/D (SATA or EIDE) $60
DVD Burner (Plextor) $50
Video Card (GeForce 512MB) $80
19 Inch Monitor $120 - $200
There's about $540 in parts alone.

You done good I'd say. |

Are you sure about this price? It seems a bit low for a 512MB card. |

Might have been a PCI card not AGP.
There are lower priced cards. |

It may be one of those lower range cards, maybe 8500, with DDR2 memory. The number of 512mb is flattering. Those cards don't perform well. |
