Hi,

Just out of curiosity, how do return flights from BKK to LHR compare with Korea in terms of price (March time)?

LHR>BKK return are pretty cheap but haven't heard about people doing the other way around...

Last time I did that I paid about 15000 baht for a Gulf Air ticket BKK to LHR. Actually it might have been Gatwick - I can't remember. I booked at the last minute in February with a local agent.

There are budget airlines going from Bangkok to Macau and Macau to Hong Kong and Hong Kong to London so if you fancy a detour you might be able to pay even less.

Etihad and Qatar seem to beat them for price nowadays. All sorts of weird airlines are trying to get their foot in the door including Sri Lankan and Chinese airlines. Lots of competition = low fares. Just ask an agent for the cheapest flight.

The service on Kuwait Air was awful for me - including 24 hours in an airport hotel in Kuwait shared with another passenger due to a flight delay. Mad

yes, avoid kuwait airlines, even if it is the cheapest. well ok, if it is significantly cheaper, go with them, but otherwise, skip them.
