Anyone ready to get together for the bi-monthly gathering?

Uh...why not do something the night of Sept. 15? A lot of the ladies will be around for the clothing swap anyway....

So let's worry about places first. What kind of mood do we want. Swanky and lounge-y? Or a place where we can get dripping drunk for cheap?

Siena Beverage Lounge in Daechi is nice. It's got this Prague-esque underground-castle-catacombs theme going on. With lots of fake flowers. I go there a lot for dinner. Pitchers are 12,000 won. It's kind of intimate, but there is a bar upstairs that can accomodate quite a few people.

Down the street is Moselle, a wine bar (serves other drinks) and there is a pool table and darts upstairs that can hold a few people.

Thats all the advice I can give since I don't really go out often.

HA! Yeah, cause you're a real loner, you really need to get out more.

Oh, and count me in. I'm all about the cheap drinks, but I don't mind going somewhere a little nicer to start the night.

Yep, Sept. 8th sounds like a plan. How about Shitaewon?

As if. That'll be the day. There's never been a Dave's Gathering in Itaewon. There might be good reasons for this. Maybe someplace close, though, like Haebangchong ...

Can't do the 8th, have a farewell gathering for a friend.

I'd be interested to meet some of you though...

Seriously, why try to organize something for the 8th when we will have a built-in opportunity on the 15th? The ladies will be in town for the clothing swap and may be agreeable to a drink or two afterwards. The swap will take place in Haebangchon, which will be a nice departure from the usual meeting spots, and then we can move to Hongdae/Itaewon depending on what people want.
