I got the following link from the site I posted on the college thread, ( http://85.92.128.155/~myp2p/forum/index.php ) and it appears that it will be updated weekly for streams for all NFL games. I am a little bitter that I already coughed up the dough for the Yahoo Game Pass, oh well. Anyway, the link to the blog with the NFL streams is:
http://streamednfl.blogspot.com/
The season kicks off with the Saints @ Indy this Friday at 9:30 am (KST). I gotta go with New Orleans to open up with a win and Reggie Bush scores two, yes two touchdowns.
Other thoughts on week one...
Chicago @ San Diego appears to be a great game but I think the Chargers will force at least 3 to 4 turnovers with Sexy Rex leading da Bears. Look for WR Bernard Berrian to have a good season for the Bears as he is emerging as a Pro Bowler and is in a contract year (and he went to my alma mater).
Pittsburgh @ Cleveland, yawn...
Arizona @ San Francisco pits two young QBs on the rise against each other in the bright lights of an opening weekend MNF double header. Arizona takes this meeting of probably many between these two former California high school QBs.
Baltimore @ Cincinnati should be a great week one divisional game. It will be interesting to see if McNair can continue his late career surge. These teams kinda hate each other, should be fun to see Cinco Ocho and Ray Lewis jaw back and forth pre-game and during game.
Detroit @ Oakland are two of last seasons worst teams with a combined 5 wins between them last year. John Kitna guaranteed 10 wins for the Lions in 2007, Daunte Culpepper is the starter in Oakland with a HUGE chip on his shoulder from his treatment in Miami, (when the hell are they going to sign that huge stud JaMarcus Russell) so who wins? Sorry Kitna, 0-1 to start the season.
Any other thoughts on week one? |

You know the whole making-guarantees thing has a lot its bite now that John Kitna's doing it.
As for me and the NFL, I'm trying to think of reasons to be optimistic about the Bills. They've got an interesting young group of players and some upgrades on the offensive line. Still, at best, they're a few years away from being serious contenders. Then again, the NFL has been pretty weird the past few years, There's always at least one team that comes out of nowhere.
If I had to bet money, I'd say the Superbowl would be NE-NO, with NE winning.
If I had to make an interesting SB pick, Philly-Cincinatti. That's pretty random, I'm behind on the pre-season hype. God I miss ESPN. |

I think the fact that all the games will be on at 2 AM, 5 AM, and 9:30 AM begs the question - where are the TORRENTS?
I probably will be missing most of the live streams....but the torrents are what I want - it will be relatively easy to avoid the scores and just download the games - but I've never needed to do that, so I don't know if people put em up - or where.
And I agree - I can definitely see the 'Aints pulling a nice upset on Opening Night. |

I see Indy winning in a high scoring affair..i know not very original.
Before Leftwich got cut I saw Jax as division winners. They seem set up to beat Indy and in general have good talent on both sides of the ball.
Indy have lost their Left Tackle(2nd most important position on D), their DT(very important in their cover 2 scheme), massive turnover on D, rely on Bob Sanders health!. Personally I think Manning is that damn good that they will still go 9-7-11-5. I still have a feeling that Jax with mediocre QBing could pip them to the division though. In other words Garrard has to not blow up.
Saints D was terrible last year, I didn;t see them improve much here during the offseason. They'll have a good season but will get steamrolled by a good team in the playoffs..probably the eagles who I would pick to win the NFC. |

I agreed with cutting Leftwich but why have him start all 4 preseason games before you do it? Anyway, I always thought he was a mediocre QB who the Jags could never do much with. But who knows if Garrard will be any better?
Another topic for discussion: who's the bust team this year? I vote for the Cowboys. Romo was a flash in the pan and TO will terrorize a pushover like Wade Phillips (though I don't think there's any coach he'd listen to). How do guys like Phillips and Norv Turner keep getting head coaching jobs? |

Wow...nice links. Thanks MANDRL. I don't think you'll be sorry with Game Pass, though. |

I don't think anyone has mentioned this site. It has truly made life in Korea livable! You have to sign up before you can see the torrents, i think. But this is the BEST football torrent site I've seen. They've had practically all of the preseason games and had several of the best college football games from week 1. They also have torrents for the NFL shows on ESPN and HBO.
Enjoy! |

So i just read Culpepper will not be starting, but rather Josh McCown will be thrown in the mix for the silver and black. I still gotta go with the Raiders to beat the Lions; the Raiders still have a very good defense.
Holy crap, a mere 14 1/2 hours until kick off, how will I be able to sleep tonight???!!! It is like the feeling as a little kid the night before Christmas and all I want under the tree is a Dolphins playoff birth, a Patriots let down, and a Chargers Super Bowl! |

The pregame is coming in nice on Soapcast. But the channel has been changed to 6116. If you are going to use Soapcast go to 6116. |

Wow, that was an asss kicking by the Colts. Boy was I wrong about the Saints. Their defense sucks big time, wow. They are lucky they are in the NFC. I can't say I am THAT impressed by the Colts because of how crappy the Saints defense played. San Diego has made the blue print for beating the Colts. Put pressure on Manning, disrupt him as much as possible, and he messes up. The Saints offense line didn't look very good at all. |

The impressive part about the Colts game was the Colts D. Bob Sanders should be Defensive Player of the Year if he really makes that much of a difference. Making any long term judgments from Week 1 is almost impossible, but if the Colts play D like that consistently, they'll be almost unbeatable. |

I can say I am happy I purchased the Yahoo game pass. The streams are great, not a single bit of choppiness in the feed. I have been up since 3:30 watching, and wow, what a great first week so far. |
