Cool. Damn good theme music, innit? What's up with missing the eigth and ninth Docs?

Yeah, I was surprised they left Eccleston out, especially.

Best theme music, ever.

Nice avatar, too. Wink

I like David Tennant--his acting, his look, and even his youth--but the show has really been losing me lately. His first season and Eccleston's first season were great but the last season seemed to be too obsessed with its own genius.

When it comes to old doctors I gravitate toward Jon Pertwee, although Tom Baker does seem to be the quintessential doctor.

Torchwood did nothing for me. Capt. Jack wasn't his usual cheeky self.

Though, Cyberwoman was kinda hot.

I think the Face Of Boe connection was a bit of a streach, but hopefully that'll mean more Face in future episodes.

I've got the Tochwoods all DL'ed, but just never watched them. I should probably get on that before Season Two starts up.

Just watched an episode of Torchwood just now. Captain Jack meets Captain Jack, falls in love and bloody snogs the bugger! Then jumps back into the time breach all teary-eyed. Awwwww.

To be more clear. After next season airs, the show won't be back for two more years. Frak.

I've got a toy Dalek from the sixties. My family moved to Canada in 1969.

In the true tradition of time travel one of them will probably get pregnant and give birth to Captain Jack. Ouch, that hurt my brain.

I remember when Ellen seemed to become a weekly lecture on gay rights. I hope Torchwood doesn't do that.

The two Captian Jacks were not the same Captain Jack, and the Torchwood Captain Jack already said he would never get pregnant again.

Personally, I'd rather he vacate the role than leave the show on hiatus so he can go play thespian

Well, I just watched the Doctor Who episode where Captain Jack makes an appearance, and it appears that he is multi-sexual and happy to shag anything at all. It was an interesting episode: it explained why Jack is immortal and invincible. It also reintroduced the Master. I was a little disappointed to hear The Master speak with an estuary accent, as I remember him being such a posh imperious b@stard. However, he seems like quite a cheeky chappy, and I think his particular brand of evilness is going to grow on me.

It's been more than 10 years since the Master has made an appearance. I almost jizzed all over when he finally showed up.

(But I have to wonder exactly HOW is the Master still kicking when he was on his unprecedented and "impossible" 13th regeneration during the Tom Baker years... I couldn't stand the Colin Baker and Sylvester McCoy years, so I have to idea how they kept the character going)
