I knew it - those pesky plants are in league with the b'aathists, khomenists and al-qaidaists aren't they? Presumably if the plants give up their war, there won't be a problem anymore?

Ooh 'give up their war' is another good one. Basically anything that sounds like it is being said from a soapbox to inspire emotion normally comes out as corny..axis of evil...war on terror..etc

Well what do you describe what Iran and Al Qaeda were doing ? Friendly acts?

Terrorism. If you are fighting the people who carried out 9-11, then it is terrorism you are fighting.

Just like those guys crying about the great satan. Very hard to take seriously.

The US also uses that word.

well you describe what AQ wants?

IT seems not to be much different in many ways to what the enemies of the US during WW II and the cold war wanted.

Consider what happened on Aug. 14. Four jihadist suicide-bombers blew themselves up in two Iraqi villages, killing more than 500 Kurdish civilians -- men, women and babies -- who belonged to a tiny pre-Islamic sect known as the Yazidis.

And what was the Bush team's response to this outrage? Virtual silence. After much Googling, the best I could find was: '' 'We're looking at Al Qaeda as the prime suspect,' said Lt. Col. Christopher Garver, a U.S. military spokesman.'' Wow.

Excuse me, but what exactly are we fighting for in Iraq, or in this wider war against Islamist extremism, if the murder of 500 civilians can be shrugged off? Even if we don't know the exact perpetrators, we know who is inspiring this sort of genocide -- Al Qaeda and bin Laden -- and we need to say that every day.

You describe it.

Well I'll still find it funny. I guess that 'War on terror' is the more popular usage.

I'm still waiting on the war on peevishness personally.

I'm not sure why u are mentioning Japan...

Well cause AQ is not much different in many ways from the enemies of WW II and the cold war.

It has been called the war on terrorism.

Again if you can think of a better term.

Please the full quote "enemies of WW II and the cold war."

but if you want to know Al Qaedia is a fascist hate group. Like the Klan.

You mean that AQ are
Quote:
"enemies of WW II and the cold war."
as in they are a fascist hate group.

There are plenty of those around the world. Indeed why not just say AQ are like Klan then? It would be an easier example as it wouldn't be comparing to regimes that waged war over continents or killed millions of people that they believed to be inferior race.

Really, get a little perspective on this.

You could be right except that really they might be as cruel as any were they to win. I don't see them winning but I do see them being as cruel as any in victory.

They are like the Klan except they are better armed. They would be just as the cruel as the Klan if they ever got power. If they ever got power they would kill a lot and be merciless and would probably kill many many others because they believed that they were of an inferior religion.

This is the problem there are other fascist hate groups in the world but AQ has more support than just about any fascist hate group. Hizzbollah is another case of this.

They would probably be more cruel than the communists.
