I'm been at the same school for a year and I'm seriously running out of new and original idea's. I've done the material on Tell me More. The online textbook on TESL journal. I've also played all kinds of games with them. I teach some classes alone.

Re-use the stuff with a different theme/setting/idea. They expect repetition to learn. You can't assume they picked up everything on the first run-through

Your ideas don't need to be original or new, but need to be effective. Also, if something is enjoyable students won't mind at all doing it again, as long as you don't over do it.

As long as you have the basics right I think the rest will fall into place...basics such as using an apostrophe.

Students aren't dissatisfied with the same material. Kids rarely take issue with similar topics. Middle schoolers are keen to do stuff again. They don't mind repetition at all.
