I will be arriving at Incheon on saturday, does anyone know the best/fastest way to get to Jangheung in the south? I was told there was not a flight to Mokpo, what about Gwangu from Gimpo? Gwangu appears to be the closest city.

Two options:
1) Fly into Incheon Airport, take a shuttle bus to Gimpo Airport (Seoul), fly to Gwangju, take a cab from Gwangju Airport to Gwangju Bus Terminal, take a bus to Jangheung.
2) Fly into Incheon Airport and take the airport limosuine (sp?) bus to Gwangju Bus Terminal. Once there, take a bus to Jangheung.
I personally prefer taking the bus to Gwangju. I have a hard time sleeping on planees, but I can usually get 5 hours of sleep on the bus. Also, it's really a pain to drag luggage all over the place (airports, buses, taxis, bus terminals, etc.), I think flying to Gwangju would be a hassle.
I guess option 1 is faster, but it doesn't seem like it'd be faster by much.
I can post more details later, if you need them. I've been to Jangheung a few times . . . pleasant town. |
