I was recently on a one month business trip to Australia accompanied by a young, good looking Korean co-worker. Since we had all our weekends off I told the guy that we would be drinking and partying whenever we had the chance.
On our first Friday night the two of us went to the Brunswick area of Melbourne to get our drink on. Our waitress was this cute brunette Aussie with a killer rack. After taking our order the Korean guy said to me "That girl is perfect. I want her so bad." I responded by saying "Buddy, if you can score her, drinks are on me for the entire trip." I then proceeded to coach him for the next 20 minutes 'cause I genuinely wanted this guy to get his noddle wet with this chick. Never once did i think "Oh no, he is taking one of MY women." It's absurd. Of course when it was game time and he finally approached the girl, she laughed right in his face and said "look, I have a lot of customers now and i'm always busy after work. Sorry." Actually that was the first of many girls who laughed in the guy's face, but the point is I was pulling for the little guy. |
That is because you aren't a small-minded racist. Unfortunately, I'm starting to realize that a fairly good chunk of the Koreans in America are. |
