My response to that has always been, "F that. I am the box." I want a quarter every time you use that.

"Who are you"

I don't get it, why do all my kids ask me this? Is it a bad translation? These kids are old enough they should know what the damn question means.

That always trips me out. It's as if the calendar determines the temperature. Just the same with beach season...

Last September, we were hiking. I carried a sweatshirt with me in the morning to fight the morning nippiness, but after an hour of hiking, I took off my sweatshirt and put it in my bag.

Then, I started to work up a sweat. So, here I am sweating profusely and hiking at a vigorous pace, and I get the "Aren't you cold?" Confused

"delicious" is not as bad as "yummy", especially when it's pronounced in the conglish way "YAMMY"

i had to wean one of my best mates and co-teachers off of saying "or what" at the end of everything. "are we going to get lunch, or what?". it always gave the feeling that he was expecting a negative answer and that he'd be disappointed.

"are we going to get lunch, or what?"
"no, we have decided that we don't eat anymore."
"aw man, it ALWAYS happens this way. shit."

Really? I think my little ankle biters are still wearing their summer uniforms. They ask me "Are you hot?" or "Are you cold" because I wear a jacket to class but then they feel my ice cold hands and realize that I'm just WEIRD Laughing

I'm so wound up, even the fairly innocuous, 'really?', with that irritating rising tone makes my blood pressure rise.

Really? Really????

you guys are so naive. don't you know that king sejong's ghost turns a switch on september 1 that starts (National Treasure #232) Distinct Season Number 3? at that point, all heaters get turned on in public buildings, all uniforms automatically change, and everyone is officially cold?

come on, what country do you think this is?

"Hey girls, how you doing?"
*one or two girls respond*

"Hey girls, how are you?"
*entire class in robotic voice*
"I'm fine, thank you. And you?"
