|

Here we go again, the fearless, honest, ethical, law abiding Korean judiciary is at it again.
Koreas Chief Justice lets the Chairman of Hyundai off.
The 3 year jail sentence has been suspended.
Why, because of the economic impact of putting this guy in prison.
Lieing, thieving corrupt people are good for the Korean economy.
Says a lot about the place.
Pathetic!
Apparently Judges in Korea are the countries intellectual elite.
If these are the smart guys, I'd hate to know what the dumb ones are like.
Heaps of negative comments on Naver about Teacher drug busts, I wonder how indignant the Netizens will be about this? |

Hey, the next president of Korea is going to be a lying, thieving, corrupt person, so maybe you should start being a little nicer to them. |

What's he supposed to do? He's a whitie in Korea. You think anyone will actually give a shit if he went out and protested? |

Actually it's illegal for foreigners to protest in Korea.
Only Koreans are allowed to protest and rip live animals to pieces.
Wer'e not even allowed to read a poem in public!
Although it's ok for Koreans to travel to other countries (Hong Kong) and stage violent protests, and then the Korean government is indignant, that another country has the gall to arrest their criminal citizen protestors.
However if you are Cindy Sheehan, and your protest is anti-American, then the protest is allowed.
Try throwing some dung at a Supermarket Korean Beef counter and see what happens to you! |

The logic behind it is bizarre. He was let off because the economy would be hurt by him not running Hyundai. But, according to today's JA Daily, "He was found guilty of embezzling 103.4 billion won from the firm to create a slush fund. He was also convicted of causing losses of at least 167 billion won to the automaker and its affiliates by ordering them to invest in a floundering affiliate, Hyundai Space and Airfcraft.
Chung was also found guilty of causing unspecified losses to Kia Motors during its takeover of a supplier." And this guy is helping the nation's economy? Is the embezzler and corrupt investor the best Hyundai can do? |

Yes, especially since he doesn't look "up" to the task.
