Evil quacks of greeting to all in here....
Its been a while... but i've been watching you all....... Too timid to join in the conversations... but I've been observing...... Oh yes indeedy...
Just writing to boast of my impending fame...... the evil penguin is gonna be on TV!!!!!!
sort of...maybe...
Been back in aussie for nearly a year now..... back doing postgraduate studies.... and currently working over the christmas holidays as an agricultural pest monitor.... (
Just so happened to be doing field work in a large tomato growing district up near bundaberg QLD and happened upon a korean film crew producing an ad for some kind of tomato sauce (i think).....
After impressing them with my incredibly shit korean-speak ability..... I then carried on doing my work...
... only to realise that all cameras were trained on me and zooming after me like a fly at a barbeque....
Of course i then had to try and look important.... gathering samples that didn't have to be gathered.... pulling out the GPS and mapping blocks that didn't have to be mapped...... patrolling up and down the rows with PDA in hand.... just typing in crap at random... Oh i looked important alright.....
So...... if you happen to be watching korean TV.. (not sure of the channel..... should have asked...) and see an ad for some kind of funky korean tomato sauce product.... and see on this ad some hairy twit acting like a total wanker trying to look important.... you've just been watching The evil penguin......
(it is possible howeevr that i won't actually be on the ad...... maybe they were just astonished by the sight of some hairy looking yeti/bigfoot thing blundering around a tomato patch......)
Thats all i wanted to say.... I'm nearly famous.....
(i will be charging 50 cents per autograph...)

Agricultural Pest Monitor, indeed. Don't you fancy yourself as so important now!  Did you put together that old, 500cc motorbike left under the porch in pieces? A Bandit, was it? |

A late reply to ya Capt Kirk.... trying to find another post and stumbled across this one...
Yep. The old 500 up and running. Took a couple of months to iron a few things out but eventually got her going for a few long distance runs. Had a 3000km blast through the western regions (NSW, QLD, SA) a few months back and now using the old girl for daily commuting.
Honda CX. 1978 model..... but has nice new shiny exhausts. Kinda like dating an older woman with boob enhancements.

Hey Grubby.... camera going well (replaced with new digital but not unloved or forgotten..).... Where are you floating around these days???
