| I was madly in love with Kate Winslet, so that's my excuse for watching it, er, a couple of times. |

Imagine our horror as my newlywed wife and I first snuggled up to watch the video that the Wedding Hole produced for us.
The beautiful intro and opening scenes are set to ... you guessed it.. "My Heart Will Go On!"
Ah, well. Just adds to the inherent cheeziness of the whole affair.
I've seen Titanic, probably several times over, just never straight through.
Overrated and over everything. Still gets to me when the mini-orchestra decides to continue playing when they could easily get on a lifeboat.
Rumor and speculation at the time had it that if Korea hadn't funnelled so much money out of the country on Titanic,
they could have averted or lessened the impact of the '97 financial meltdown.
Conspiracy theory, anyone? |

| This may be hard for some to believe, but I never did watch Titanic, nor do I have any desire to. |

| I think diCaprio is a great actor. If that makes me gay, whatever. Never saw Titanic, never will though. |

When I saw Titanic in the movie theater, it was a real letdown.
I was expecting a thrilling account of one of the greatest disasters in history. Instead, I got a lame love story.
As for Di Caprio, he's redeemed himself recently with Blood Diamond. That one's worth a watch. |
