Hi peeps,

Was out with the poster called 'pidgin' last night in Anyang, near Irish Dream etc, and came home around 4 am. He decided to stay out and find a noraebang or whatever. He was meant to crash at my place but didn't come back. His stuff is still here waiting for him.

I've tried his phone. It rang earlier but now I just get a message in Korean.

He was good and drunk last night, but he's pretty responsible and a good communicator. I'm surprised I haven't received an email from him. Guess there's no harm in describing him:

He's American, in his late 30s, just under 6 foot, stocky, beer gut, white t-shirt, white baseball cap, distinctive tatts on both arms, pierced ears (sounds awful, but he's a lovely guy!).

What do you all suggest I do? I don't speak Korean and don't know where the nearest hospital is. I've tried his friend's number, but got nothing. Kinda getting worried now.

Maybe you can email Dave and ask him to add a Sunday Afternoon Missing Persons category on this board. Shocked

Yeah, get to it right away no matter the embarassment you might face. Best thing, however, is to go down to where he was last seen, find out his last name(Do you know his school?) and contact the embassy.

Could've been involved in the nightlife, which can be quite vicious.

The brand new documentary featuring the weekend social lives of ESLers in Korea and their excessive drinking habits:

Nah, seriously, hope he pops up sometime soon... Don't sweat it yet.

Hey did your friend lose his shoes and have a new highlighter yellow jacket on Sunday morning? My friends and I were enjoying a pizza at 4am in Anyang and we see this white guy with no shoes and no shirt and being held by some Korean men. I gave him my jacket and asked him what was going on and where were his shoes, he had no idea. We gave him some pizza and then the cops took him away. No one seemed angry, and it had not been a fight (apparently) Was that your friend?
