Hello, I am returning to Korea for a second year having done a stint in Busan and now I'm interested in trying Jeju. Does anyone living there now know of good job openings or recruiters? Thanks.

Don't know about hakwons on Jeju, but the national university pays a laughable wage compared to just about every university on the mainland.
From what I've seen, the institutes there pay about the same as those in Seoul/Pusan. Don't know about housing, or more importantly, proximity to things to do and see. Need a car there? Heard it helps.
For the money supposedly there, I'm surprised they don't pay a premium. Koreans, however, seem to think that living and working there is good for some reason.
Good luck if you pursue it. Not interested here. |
