I'm going to help some teachers out at my school on the weekend. Its all legit because its at the school and my boss might even sign up for a class or two.

What do you do to teach adults? My prospective students will study with me for two hours. There will be 3 or 4 teachers in each class.

I'm going to use Jazz English for a part of the class. Also, they will read novels every month and I will have them answer questions on assigned chapters the following weekend. Easy books like Tuck Everlasting.

We have internet access in the school so we will watch a music video and do fill in the blanks. Lastly, we'll watch clips of Friends and discuss what Joey is eating.

Any other suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

Sounds like your teaching private lessons at your school on the weekend. What is your boss letting you charge for them?

Lets assume that you're teaching teachers. Are they getting paid for coming in on the weekend to;

*Watch a music video and do fill in the blanks.
*Watch clips of Friends and discuss what Joey is eating.
*Read books like Tuck Everlasting and answer questions in class.

You'll probably piss your teachers off, don't you think?

You're right. Its Saturday. So, the last thing they want to do is something boring. They responded really well to the move and music idea. They like music and they like TV.

I suggested reading books during the week because, having taught for many years, they really dont need a grammar or vocab class. They want to improve their listening and speaking.

My girldfriend studies Japanese everyday and she likes listening to music and watching Japanese dramas the most.

Thanks for the suggestions.

More I read into this it sounds like your teaching private lessons at your school. How much are you charging for the lessons? If not, then are they getting paid overtime for work on Saturdays?
