Hey guys,
I've been teaching English in Bangkok, Thailand for a little over a year now. I did my TEFL cert here and have been teaching teens and adults at a language center. Im looking for a change of scenery and to make/ save some money, so I'm planning to move to Korea in January. I'm trying to get a job set up now so I'm wondering if anyone can recommend any reputable recruiters or schools to apply to in Seoul. Any advice about finding a job would be helpful, things to look for or stay away from, etc.
Thanks |

You're too early.
Most places that will be hiring for Jan won't start looking until December.
Long range planning (more that 30 days in advance) is not one of the strengths of the ESL industry here ESPECIALLY when it comes to human resourse planning.

If you can wait to start until the end of Feb., (though a few people start at odd times before then) you may be able to get a job with SMOE, the public schools in Seoul. |
