Does anyone know anywhere at all in Korea that you can buy these? I started having them in NZ before I came over here, and they were great, really yummy, and I liked the fact that they were high in protein, without adding a lot of carbs. I would like to start having them again, so if anyone knows the 411, I would be eternally grateful. (as would my body!)

Bad blue flower! Those meal replacement things aren't good. Eating a balanced diet and exercising regularly will be better for you in the long run.

It's not like I'm just gonna down a tub of those every day. At the moment, i eat breakfast, and eat dinner. I miss lunch, so I want have a shake for lunch, as I know its not healthy to skip meals. It's better for me to have a shake, than feast on cake, and bread. I'm not being stupid about it. don't worry, I will still look as beautiful as ever Wink

Well then don't skip lunch. It's not like it's hard to have a healthy lunch here. Grab some fruit, or make a sandwich etc. 5 min. Grab some bibimbap or something.

Um, most of that stuff is high protein whey powder the same is what is in those tins of powder for body builders. Normal whey isn't high in protein but the stuff I'm talking about is.

ALso - thanks everyone. Anda that was some good info there, thanks.

Where in Namdaemun markets is it sold Emma?

CLG - you sound like my mother. The fact of the matter is, I'm lazy. I don't like bibimbap, I don't like sandwiches, the bread is crap, etc. Nothing to eat for lunch. Anyway, they are good for you. What's healthier - To eat a slab of cake, and some bread rolls from the bakery (which is what I am doing now), or drink a healthy protein shake with lots of vitamins and minerals?

I've seen Why protein powder in the Foreign Goods section of Namdaemun market. The place is prettydifficult to find however. i think I found a thread on here with directions.....but can't seem to find it now. I also found it on a map from one of those tourism books from KNTO as well. "Sunshine Korea" was the name I think......

You can use the powder to make shakes yourself....you'll have to buy a blender though. In my experience these shakes are better than the premixed ones anyway.

And they are healthy! I wouldn't suggest using them as meal replacements.....but a good shake has lots of vitamins, minerals, and nutrients.

Yeah I got a protein shake for you right here, baby. Laughing (that was for Becky's benefit)

(I actually do have about 50 US-made packets I received as a present and just never bothered to consume. Vanilla ain't my fave. They're all yours if ya want).
