|
|
Well it's broken out again at my school, and a bunch of middle school students have been TRYING to get it by rubbing their infected friends' eyes and then their own. They really hate school that much that they're so desperate to get out of their lessons. I actually say a girl doing it yesterday after class. The teachers have resorted to quarantining all of the infected students in the science lab today.
On the upside, yesterday pretty well all the trouble-makers were absent from class, leaving me with very pleasant and manageable classes of about 25 students. |

They're doing this at my middle school too.
I've got the GEPIK orientation next week, and I'm semi-seriously considering following their example to get out of it. |

Stick some food dye in your eye, take a week off, don't forget to wash out food dye or you may get conjunctivitis. |

Unbelievable.
The same outbreak has occured at my high school but I'm not sure if they've tried to give it to one another or not. It wouldn't really surprise me if they were though..
During my first week of teaching here, I saw a teacher walking nearly 30 students down the hill away from our school and toward the clinic. My co-teacher told me they all claimed to have an "eye disease" |

If any of these "infected" students put their fingers anywhere near me, they will be drowned in disinfectant. |

i'm just hoping my school closes. not that it will happen, but it would be nice.
i suppose if i really wanted to miss class, i'd try to get pink eye from the students, but that's just gross. |

A whole class of my school has it, too. It just happened two days ago. Initially, I thought a girl was crying because she had gotten smacked/hit by a teacher. Seriously, that was my first reaction. Around here it's not an unreasonable thing to think. But it's an eye infection that's going around. |
