you know...there's always been some rumbling that other states have a bone to pick with michigan.
i don't see how michigan can be any more "overrated" than another team. when we were up there making the plays and getting work done properly, people were up there trying to say that we were "overrated" and were trying to find something to complain about.
when it's not michigan it's MSU, if it's not MSU, then it's the pistons.
people are always trying to hate.

No, Northwestern kicks them in the goat ass academically...duh. Anybody but a UM fan would readily accept that well-known fact.

You're kidding, right? Who hates on MSU other than a few random Big 10 people and others from Michigan?
Nobody's big game is against MSU.
...
You know that you're big time when several teams of some statures' big games are against you (Michigan fits this, as well as Texas, USC, Miami, Notre Dame, OSU, Oklahoma, several SEC teams, Appalaccian State). |

Well, I'm still not depressed about UM's season. However, if they lose to ND, I will officially be in deep depression. Losing to a lower team like App. St. is humbling, but losing to ND is just sickening. Of course, I feel a little bit down any time ND beats anybody. Maybe Navy can finally end their losing streak this year.
EDIT: Henne won't be playing. I wonder if that's a good thing or a bad thing. It almost certainly will mean even more conservative play-calling by Lloyd et al. |

Straight from CFN:
Why is there glee nationwide for fans that have no connection to Michigan other than college football? MS
A: Everyone likes to see Goliath take a hit every once in a while, especially when its a program that just oozes arrogance from every pore like Michigan. Dont get me wrong, I have nothing against Michigan. However, no program, and no fan base, buys into the belief that theyre above everyone else more than this one. The place actually believes all the Leaders and Best stuff, and for good reason. Were talking about the winningest program in college football history. No one has been better for longer, or has such deep rooted historical roots to make winning year in and year out a demand, not just a hope. In other words, the arrogance is warranted. From the e-mails Ive been getting and the people Ive talked to, the glee is because many believe the Wolverines are overrated year in and year out because of the brand name. Many see this as an evening out of the justice. |

Again, who cares about ancient history? Winningest program...blah blah blah.
I'd pinpoint Texas A&M as the most arrogant and unrightfully so bunch. |
