What's the deal with all the hangul here? Are you trying to impress us or have you turned Korean? Laughing

You know not only people living in Korea read Dave's, don't you? Not all of them can read hangul either. Therefore your contribution to this thread is rather vain. The purpose of threads on Dave's is to share information.

Well since we're talking about Korean movies, I thought....
oh fu(k it, nevermind. You're right. We should never use Korean on a website discussing all things Korean, used predominantly by people living in Korea.

Just for you:
Jjak-Pae is a good action movie.

I also liked Memories of Murder. The actor's performance(Song Kang-ho) was amazing.

Bin-Jip (the empty house) by Kim ki Duk. It's a great movie... Koreans hate it and all of Mr. Kim's films for the same reason they probably hate this forum, though.

타짜 (Tta-cha) or "High Rollers" as it's called in English.

Smart, edgy gambling flick.

Oh, and it shows Kim Hae-su's rack, which should be a frickin' Korean national treasure. Very Happy

Dude, I rented Tta Cha and saw it today. Hands down the best Korean film I've seen. It's smart and well made. Unlike most Korean movies...which suck big time.

Gaemul (aka The Host) sucked balls. And I won't even waste my time with crap like D-War.

His performance in Gaemul (The Host) was pretty bad...but people say he's a good actor.

Before you say anything I already know most people thing "The Classic" is just a ripoff of "My Sassy Girl" but I don't care.
