Best place to exchange US dollars into KR won? It's not a lot...just a few hundred bucks but I want to get screwed on the exchange rate.

Just hit me up -- I happily pay the current daily rate to exchange Korean won for US $ -- I get more than I would by buying my dollars at the bank, you get more than you would buying your won at the bank, we are both happy.

Of course, if you don't live in Pohang, the bus ticket might make the exchange unfeasible

I got a good rate at a "currency exchange" place off a side street in Itaewon. (I think it was just a few stores down from where the Burger King used to be - now there's a "Coffee Bean" at that corner...)

Among regular banks, I think that Nonghyup gives the best rate ...
