I have lived in one place here for four years, but i have yet to see one. Maybe i am just lucky?

I am always amazed at the lack of cockroaches in Seoul. I imagined that they would be everywhere, but in 2 years living here I have only seen 1, and that was in a restaurant (!). Why are there apparently so few cockroaches here? |

About a year ago. Hagwon owner put me in a crappy apartment with no hot water. C.ockroaches kept coming in from between the cracks in the walls. I live in a much better apartment now, and there's been no nasty bug problems so far besides the occasional mosquitos.
Next time I see a c.ockroach though, I might consider feeding it to my hamster.  |
