I assume I can get a vaccination at the International Clinic in Itaewon, but just wanted to check in case there was somewhere better/cheaper. Any advice?
I know that Japanese B encephalitis is extremely rare, but I'm going to be working on a farm until the end of October at least (maybe longer) and the mosquitos are terrible. Seriously, I'm thinking of putting a net up. I've not seen any pigs, but the area is full of rice paddies and I figured the jab might be a good idea for peace of mind if nothing else. |

Dou you live in the itewon/hbc/huam area?
If you don't , go to the international clinic. Easy to find.
If you do, say so and I'll give directions to a doc in HBC (cheaper). |

From what I remember there's also a small chance of getting the disease by taking the vaccine - one of the potential side effects. That means that unless you're going into a high-risk area for a long time, it could be a bigger risk to get the vaccine than not to. But, ask a doctor - don't rely on advice from Dave's! |
