Anyone know how to go about doing that? I asked my landlord about it yesterday and he told me to just buy bug spray. So I looked up the word 'exterminator' on Naver's dictionary, he read through the description, and told me he had no idea what any of it meant (it was all in Korean). He just laughed and told me to search for it on Naver for someone to hire.

Well, I don't know how to do that. There are three words in the dictionary for exterminator and I don't know which one is right, or even if any of them are.

In the meantime, I've decided to buy some bug spray and coat the baseboards with it. (Killed two bugs tonight -- one roach, one bizarro thing that creeped me the f out.) However, I don't know if this might be dangerous for my cats. If I spray the stuff before work and keep them locked up in their bedroom, will it be safe for them by the time I get home?

I don't think the Ex-Terminator is available for small jobs, he's busy being the Governor of California

The number may be 2001-1119 if I am not mistaken (but that is from memory and not for sure).

I couldn't find anything on the web about a Cessco, but I'll try to ask my coworkers. Thanks for the tip.

I'll just update for anyone who may search for this in the future.

I found the company ttompatz recommended, Cesco (세스코 in Korean). This page on their site explains the process. Their phone number is: 1588-1119.

Some people on Naver said it costs about 180,000 won for a 25-35 pyeong apartment. Pricey, but they seem thorough. On the company site, it says they come once and then again a month later. After that, if you see any pests, they will send someone out free of charge.

Yeah that was it. What a freaky looking thing.

It was like 3am when I saw it scuttle across the wall behind my computer, as I was watching Naruto. Thankfully, I had the light on. I rolled up a magazine and swatted it, but it just fell and disappeared. I went nuts, lifting up all the furniture in the house, but to no avail. So I waited. Finally it reappeared about an hour and a half later. This time I took no chances swatting and went for a direct squash. The facker still didn't die. It fell to the floor and tried to scurry away. I pursued it and smashed it with a fury.

What a terrible night. I was getting ready to go to bed when I first spotted it, but with the adrenaline rush it was closer to sunrise.
