I had the weirdest re-running dream last night. It is strange that I remember it so vividly because I usually forget my dreams upon waking. I should preface by stating that I ate sushi, drank baekseju, and had nirvana-like sex before sleeping.
My mother and I were taking a flight from some unspecified country to a rural location in another unspecified country. Somehow, I missed a connection, and my mom boarded the next flight without me. I ended up in the rural location eventually, luggage-less and wearing only a garbage bag over my torso and no pants or under garments. I had to take a bus from the airport to an even more rural location. The signs were in Korean and English, but I am sure I was in an English-speaking country (i.e. home somewhere). After departing the bus, I still had to walk a long way to get to my house, where my parents and other family members were staying. It was not my home - just a house they were in on a farm. I had to trek to the house with only the garbage bag for clothing, but nobody seemed to care. At one point, a large flock of seagulls sh*t all over me, but it did not seem to phase me.
Once I got to the house, I asked my dad to give me a ride back to the airport to claim my baggage, but he said no. We had a fist fight, exchanged some more choice words, then I left to hitch-hike back the airport. Once I got to the airport, I decided to get on the plane again and go back to wherever I had come from.
This dream went on in the same cycle three or four times throughout the night. Needless to say, I am drowsy today. Any thoughts?

Yo Koon Taung..
Do you wake up refreshed or tired after these dreams? I've been told that lucid dreaming is not tied to REM sleep and is actually taxing on the brain ....
In any case, your dreams are wild. |

| I had one the other night that stuck with me for a few days. I was on my balcony when suddenly the sky turned purple and the stars and moon looked like they were made from construction paper. Then I realized it was the end of the world and I saw my little sis and we took off flying together. When we landed she changed into my mom, and we were discussing what it was like being dead. We saw my father who had to stay behind on earth because it wasn't his time yet. I told my mom to say her last words. As soon as she began asking my dad something (before she managed to get a syllable out) we were in a room like the kind from Saw3, and this machine was driving razorblades through my mother's back. The screams were intensely loud. Then I was strapped in a chair and this sadistic motherfucker was chopping my head and neck like it was a carrot with a butcher knife. That's where it ended for me. |
