|
|
I have my domain name, I have hosting, I even have the super-user-friendly dreamweaver software and the sitebuilder software from my hosting site. I just cant seem to make it work. I can see the sample site on dreamweaver, but after uploading it to my domain server (ftp settings working fine), nothing has shown up. I waited 2 days, now's the third day. I just need someone (hopefully someone in the bundang area) who can show me in person the beginner steps to make this work and to show me what I am doing wrong. Many thanks. PM me if u wish. |

So you uploaded it via FTP? It should be there instantaneously. My best guess is that you put it in the wrong folder. |

Check the homepage file. Make sure it's called "home.htm." And make sure that there are no other files with that name. |

also be sure that you upoaded your files to the correct folder. They should be in one of two folders depending on the naming convention your host uses.
public_html (most common)
or
htdocs (less common) |
