Was watching the news and heard that it's going to rain again starting tomorrow...but wasn't clear as to whether we'll be getting hit with annoying sprinkles, the occasional shower or some heavy duty rain.

It's forecast thunderstorms all the way down the east coast and heavy rain inland.

May cancel my trip to Seoul for the outdoor music event this weekend Crying or Very sad

What outdoor music event? When? Where? Korean music?

Heavy rain inland = Seoul?

Anything to knock that crap out of the air will be acceptable.

It had better not rain today. THis is the first day for three months where I haven't carried my golf umbrella with me.

My students are in shock that i left it at home and think something is wrong.

At first I read that as Typhoon NAZI.

The I thought, "Man, sucks to be in Jeju this weekend."

You can also check weather.com for the short-term and long-term forecasts.

Here is the weekend prediction for Ulsan, which is on the east coast.

http://www.weather.com/outlook/travel/businesstraveler/weekend/KSXX0029?from=search

100% chance of rain Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Sad

Obviously, the typhoon is going to dump a lot of rain the next few days.

What are som good sites to get weather info from Korea?

I've been to BBC, yahoo weather, and weather.com and all of them always have conflicting information. You can really see the differences when you look at the 5 day forecasts and the high's and lows for each day.

I like http://www.630.co.kr/. It's better if you read some Korean, but basically understandable if you don't.

looks like we are in for heavy rain (1-2") according to weather.com, then on the KMA website (www.kma.go.kr) it says the rain will ease up during the afternoon/evening, before restarting Sun AM as the typhoon approaches.

got 2 outdoor parties to go to Sat nite so lets hope this forecast is on.
