Looking for a good trumpet -- not a student model. I have a student trumpet so I am looking for something a little better. C or b flat. I am in Busan. Please PM Me. I would need the make and model number in order to know if I wanted it. Pix are worth a thousand words.
Thanks! |

| I got my horn (a bach stradivarius model) at Nagwon in Seoul (the giant music building near Insa-dong). It was expensive -- a lot more than I'd pay back home or (especially) on eBay, but my old Conn cornet was getting too creaky for reliable use. |

Thanks, I'd look at a Strad but probably not new and definitely not at retail price. It's a personality thing. I can afford a good horn but I need to feel like I am getting a good deal.

Just kind of curious. Where are you playing? I am a horn player too looking for a place to play. |

| I'm curious too; I also play trumpet and would love to be playing here. Perhaps we have enough for a brass ensemble? |

An ensemble sounds good. About the horn I have. Anyway, I used to have two Bach's , one B flat and one C. Now I have the old family trumpet: a Conn Constelation! But I have it here in Korea and I am ready to play. I too want to buy a new one: but they are really pricey these days.
I am preparing a music minus one piece to play at my Hogwan , then at a church. |

I am in Busan, so I am probably not much use to the Seoul Horn Cats.
In answer to your question, I live in the foreign faculty residence of a large urban college campus. Nobody has bugged me about my trumpet yet, though I don't play for hours a day and since I am building my lip, I play in short spurts. I also have an office which is empty in the evening and I could play there if push came to shove. |
