|
|
Now that it is September, I thought it might be a good idea to see what a family of 3's expenses are. Because it seems there is so much variance in people's budget, I was wondering if you could keep track and post your expenses for the month of September??
*note* this only applies to a family of 3: teacher, wife, and newborn / toddler.
everyone else will probably have different budgets, expenses, and frugality / propensity to consume.
please try to be as exact as possible.
for example: supermarket (500,000k), electric (100k)
thanks! |

I don't usually keep careful track of our expenses, but we are a family of three with a one year old. I will do my best to keep track this month to help you out.
We are living on one income of 2.0 million and are doing our best to save money. It's tough-but definitely possible. |

I have a wife and a newborn. My spending is up and down. Depends on how much I make in the month. This month was very good for us. 6 million plus. So I bought a new digital camera 600k, just got back from costco first time there, 250k. But other then that it is pretty normal, food maybe 200k baby things is expensive right now new bottles and little things here and there. But if you live in a normal English teacher apt. You could spend around 1.5 to 1.8 My family does 2 million plus with no extra's |

Family of three here with 2 year-old... I'll try to keep track, but can't promise how exact it'll be.
You've piqued my curiosity, actually. |

Child/Mom Insurance 200,000
Dad Insurance 135,000
Electricity 40,000
Water 8,000
Home Gas 40,000
Home phone 25,000
Mom's cell 30,000
Dad's cell 20,000
Cable 8,000

Car Gas 50,000
Cigarettes 75,000
Groceries 600,000
Toddler's Supplements 40,000

Sorry, the 600,000 on groceries is projected for the whole month and includes household goods like toilet paper, shampoo and pull-ups for the little tyke, who is having issues on the potty... |

...from your 1.6Mwon, i subtracted
daycare - 140,000
miscellaneous - 1/2 or 100,000
cigarettes - 30,000
car gas - 50,000
2 cell phones - 50,000
or about 370,000 , that puts me at about 1.2mWon for the month, with my stay at home wife and 1 year old.
your groceries are about right for the month..... |
