It;s interesting because its existence was initially denied, and then admitted.
There was speculation, now there is proof.
Nothing conclusive, but it does raise more questions - what was it doing (in the restricted airspace)? What did it see/hear? Is it evidence of foreknowledge of some kind?
This revelation isn't spectacularly amazing; just a small piece of the puzzle. Do you have any more info on the subject? how about contributing? |

How often to intel planes fly over washington? I don't know how often but that by itself isn't anything.
Why not have a plane over NY at the same time? |

Here's a description of the plane in the article in the OP:

Just my humble opinion, but, is it really unreasonable for a plane of the above description to be over Washington DC?
See also Screw Loose Change's discussion of Restricted Air Space at approximately the 57 minute mark, which clears up the popular misconception that planes entering restricted air space were immediately intercepted. The latter came into effect on September 28th 2001. |
