SeoulShakin, don't apologize for being rattled, any woman would have, but you handled it really well. Some guys just don't get how vulnerable women are, and how that affects our perception of things

She stood up for herself and protected herself, and whatever fear she felt was just the same a man, or anyone else, would have felt - but she did what she needed to do. Next time something like that happens, she'll know she's strong enough to handle it, and she'll do what is needed without the fear. Because she knows what she is capable of.

Okay, maybe some guys don't know how vulnerable women are, but also, ya know ... some women don't know how strong they are. Until they find out. Then, they know, as I suspect she knows now. And she's telling us us about it now.

Good going, SS.

Well, I was afraid mostly because after repeatedly telling him he was being too pushy, he kept trying to find out where I lived. Then he tried to follow me to my home. Since he wasn't taking an OBVIOUS hint, and continued to push information, had he followed me home, who is to say he couldn't have become more pushy?

I know that's thinking far too ahead of myself, and perhaps being paranoid, but I was scared, as I think a few other females would be as well. Can't help how I felt.

You weren't being paranoid. What happened to you is really terrible, and I'm glad you're OK.

Same from me. I was only kidding with the 'Britney' comment, of course. The guy was obviously an arsehole.

I gotta post in and confirm the same feelings.

It's fascinating watching different responses on this thread by different genders.

Having someone 'stalk' you is a disturbing experience period. Guys just don't have this, we just don't have large aggressive opposite gender people with sexual lusts attempting to act out urges with strong intent which are strongly against our own will.

Personally I think the situation is messed up.

Pepper spray and some Korean words on paper to display situation to others would be good though.

Once a gay guy followed me, creeped me out. He wasn't bigger than me, but still, the vibes were very uncomfortable. He walked a few minutes alongside me, just being friendly, spoke English not bad, then asked, "Do you like gay sex?" I got away from him, but he was hanging around near my place for while.

Another time a woman moved into a room in my hotel so she could have more of what we did one drunk night. That wasn't so bad. A few days later she left. Saw her in a bar a few days after, she didn't even seem to recognize me. Weird one, she was.

I've had a few people creep me out as well like that.

Guy in Memphis down on Beale Street was convinced I wanted something - drugs, girls, boys, something. I couldn't get away from him, wouldn't take 'no' for an answer. I slipped into a store and saw him waiting outside for me. I asked for a backdoor, and slipped out of there. Creeped me out.
