Anyone know of international parties that resemble real parties where people can actually mingle and mix with ease, rather than sit akwardly in segregated groups?

I heard of one that was advertised by email, a guy I know got one, but I didn't see an ad on this site. Has Branson finally given up on Dave's? Or been banned?

I used to do my Single And Bitter parties every Valentine's Day, but that was in the day of having foreign friends. Now that 95% of them are Korean, they are not so good anymore. It's just not their style of party.

Yeah... does anybody know by the way what IS Koreans' style of party? Trying to get my Korean friends together is like herding cats.

I always lie and say it's my birthday or something equally monumentous. It's easy to get them together then.

No, that would be silly. Let's get together before I go travelling. Let's get together when I get back. Let's get together and celebrate # years in Korea. Today is (fake holiday) in Canada, we should get together.

There are others. You just gotta be creative.
