48 seconds, worth a laugh. I wonder is Miss Ontario has ever done something like this?

Your link doesn't work, and it's been posted before, but she's pretty and stupidly funny enough to see again: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lj3iNxZ8Dww

Actually, I looked into it further, and there's a followup interview with the girl on the Today show (she admitted to being almost in shock and not really hearing more than a couple words of the original question...)

aw a girl got stagefright. she wasn't smart to begin with. and now it's public.

now everyone who did one or two presentations in 1st year college can feel good about themselves.

it still doesn't have that brady bunch "oh shit, marcia, don't go in there!!!" quality.

try again, folks. there's dumber people to make fun of.

Hey, she handled herself very well on the Today show (which also gratuitously showed her bikini-clad in the swimsuit competition) and she's gonna go to Appalachian State U. - which beat Michigan last week...

Here's her competing against G.W. Bush: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2WbOUwbwr2w&NR=1

This one's ridiculously cold: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F226lI-lo5M

If she were that stupid, I don't think that she could have spoken so coherently on the Today show. I think it was mainly a case of being too nervous and drawing a blank like she said.

I've also experienced temporary inability to organize my thoughts when having to write exam essay questions under pressure - even when knowing the subject matter well ...

I disagree that she's ugly. Most of her features seem fairly pretty:

She may not be ugly, but shes something worse: shes a bland example of cookie cutter beauty. Totally boring.

Wow, she studied hard to answer the same question. Too bad I never got to re-do the questions I got wrong on my exams. Shes an idiot.

She's just a simple South Carolina girl - if you want more sophisticated, exotic types you have to look elsewhere ...

Did you feel the Today Show questions were hardballs? Do you suppose she didn't have a chance to rehearse beforehand?

She's representing S. Carolina, not the USA. Just like those frat boys in the Borat movie. Not typical Americans, but maybe typical southerners at best. BTW, I'm southern, not trolling.
