Well, she *is* from South Carolina. I think she was part of the "1 in 5". |

You're posting something this old, have already edited it once, and still have grammar mistakes? And you're making fun of her? |

Pikanese, three years on and we're still waiting for a post from you that isn't grandiloquent. We can only hope it'll come soon! |

Due to the fact that it's live TV televised early in the morning, I don't think the Today show rehearses their interviews.
Of course, it was easy to anticipate what would be asked - and she was probably briefed ahead of time, but she prepared and articulated well enough to convincingly prove that she at least isn't as moronic as her original response (broadcast all over the world) indicated.
It doesn't take much more than that to be elected U.S. President... |

All this shows is that shes a good parrot. make her hink on her feet, and guess what, shes an idiot. Plain, boring looks. She could atleast be interesting, but no. About the only thing the world get from her being alive is that shes a carbon sink...less carbon in the air and less global warming..other than that, MORON |

Shoot, she's no dumber than Katie Couric. The only difference is Couric has a script on a TelePrompTer in front of her.
I wouldn't be surprised if Miss SC has a job on the Today show before long.
How is Katie? Is she still filling Walter Cronkite's shoes?
Now there's a person to make America proud. It was a day or two after Katrina nearly wiped New Orleans off the map, and NBC reporters are interviewing people in the sewage infested Dome, showing people wading through sewage infested water, people begging for Washington to send food. And Katie is sitting there in the studio in a dress she would wear to a dinner party with network executives and a multi-strand necklace of pearls draped down her chest at 8 in the morning. It was grotesquely insensitive and inappropriate. Watching Katie, you get the impression of a person who never had an original thought in her life. Yet corporate America promoted her to the very pinnacle of television news.
Now, why did Miss SC get mental lockjaw? She didn't fess up. Miss America contestants believe they have to offer polite, politically correct answers that don't offend people, especially the average American. Having to find an instant inoffensive answer to this question is what caused her brain to shut down.
On the other hand, I wouldn't want to be on national television. I have trouble enough recording the outgoing message for my answering machine. |

...as am I, btw...
No, she's not representing S. Carolina or Southerners. She's representing a few hundred teenage beauty queen contest entrants. WhoTF cares?
And so my main question is: this happened, what, three or so weeks ago? Way to go, OP! Way to pounce on this breaking story...kind of makes you look equally dumb, huh?
For the record, I'd hit it. |
