Was originally looking for a small mp3 player, but the ability to surf the web has made me interested in the new ipod touch. Any clues as to how fast/good the browser will be? |

the iPhone one is pretty fast on a g network. Problem is there are few free wifi spots in Korea. So its ok I guess. No flash, but quicktime loads pretty fast |

I get one in October. I'll set it up on my WiFi network and let you know. |

I think the screen resolution is smaller than 640*480 so it's not going to be the most elegant web solution. If web use is a priority, consider a UMPC as they're coming down in price and going up in features. Otherwise, I wouldn't spend a hell of a lot extra on it, as it's not going to be possible to do a lot without a keyboard and decent screen. Nice to have, but don't pay too much for it.
(I have a Raon Vega 800*480 and the web is usable but scrolling and typing is a real pain.) IMO 1000*600 is minimun these days. |

Can I view regular websites on iPhone or just mobile websites?
With the Safari web browser on iPhone, you can surf websites just as you do on your personal computer. Youre not limited to mobile WAP sites.
