My company is celebrating our new R&D center grand opening next month, so we're looking for amatuer performers (Western people) that can do magic, Tarot card fortune tellers and a baker that knows how to bake cakes and hand out slices of cake....

Here are the specifics:

Tarot card fortune tellers need to have some kind of clothing that will pass for what psychics wear back home. Turbans are a plus.

Magicians can be male

Tarot card fortune tellers should be female

PAY 200 thousand won for 2 hours.

TIME: Early evening

DATE: October 18th

Place: PM me for details so you don't risk any trouble from immigration.

Well, if you're willing to fly them over from Japan. How about from Beijing? I know some hypnotists who do an amazing show there. They've done several national interviews and have even been on the Chinese version of Opera. Their show is very popular with both expats and Chinese nationals.

Here is their website:

If you are planning to fly entertainers over, be aware that an "entertainers visa" can take up to 6 weeks to process.

Yeah I realize that, the opening ceremony will be held on October 18th.

On that note, if anyone knows any magicians or chefs that can bake cakes on F2 visas that want to make some coin, pm me asap...

Crazy, that website you posted - thanks, I sent them an email...

That's usually if the "entertainer" happens to be a teenage girl from a remote mountain village somewhere in SE Asia. I wouldn't be surprised if you couldn't expedite the process with a couple of legit Western performers.

Too bad the Korean visa system is such a joke, or else you wouldn't have to ship anyone from a different country. Good thing us whities can get deported for doing basically anything outside of our jobs.

I bet I'd make a pretty good fortune teller/psychic medium/spoon bender.

Damn! Not one PM from any would-be magicians, fortune teller tarot card readers or cake baker-slice hander outers!

I feel so rejected... Crying or Very sad

EDIT: Did I mention the free food for performers?

Seriously, I could handle doing a medium act.

"The spirits want me to acknowledge Kim."
"Does the name Lee mean anything to anyone?"
"There's a Park, somewhere on this side of the audience."
"Your dead grandfather wants you to study harder."
"Your grandmother wants to know why you aren't married yet."

See? Brilliant.

In my experience, most gay men can do all of the above, with flare! Except Korean ones. Useless.

As for the turban, I've been to a lot of fortune tellers "back home",and not one has ever worn a turban. That went out with 1920's traveling carnies. You watch too much Scooby Doo. I suppose your pastry chef will have an oversized chef's hat, greasy moustache and pillow stuffed in his uniform to make him look fat as well?

Good luck with this foreign freak show you're creating!
