Where is it???
I have seen the advertisements up and around the Jamsil area...
but I thought they were advertising for the Cheonho homeplus (up the road) which is still under construction and probably will not be finished until early next year...
If Jamsil does have a Homeplus.. please tell where it is.... |

It's before you get to Lotte department store, and it's right in behind where Chili's used to be. I saw the signs when I passed by in a taxi Saturday. |

Eleven years ago, I was working for Halla Heavy Industries in the building next to Chilis...I was the first customer when it opened, feels weird that it's now closed down. Damn! |

Pretty good. Has a few English Tesco lines. Has Scottish Cheddar. Er, Weetabix minis. Wine section is pretty good. Pretty keenly priced and they are considering(only considering) doing a wine club for foreigners. Has a nice electronics section. Wnak clothes section, unless you are into shiny suits like. There is a restaurant on the top floor, Vespa, that is pretty good, has decent house wines by the glass and does lamb. Aye, lamb. |

Great thanks - when was that built? I live one minute from there and never noticed it before....
Visited HomePlus today after school - really great...
it has a BIGGER range of foreign products than Lotte Mart and Emart and everything is much cheaper than Lotte Mart and Emart....
also the store is much bigger (wider aisles) - and not so many people - so it was like shopping back at home again...
even the Korean people shopping there and the staff seem very UNKorean - they were actually NOT pushy or rude...
one small problem - I did have to convince the checkout adjumna - that yes - she COULD use my "Foreign Visa-credit card" and after asking for some assistant - she quickly learnt that Foreigners visa-credit cards work very easily.... |

I went last week. It was not THAT impressive, but has more variety than your average supermarket. |

Where is it relative to Lotte in Jamsil? I too have seen the signs but have no idea where it actually is ... I go to Jamsil around once a week ... but haven't really been outside of the Lotte domain ... but I would like to go to this shop |
