I don't know what I'm doing yet. I was thinking about going to a lake for a few days and swimming and hiking. What are y'all doing? |

going with a group of friends to busan to explore the general area. i haven't been there yet, so i'm looking forward to that.
anyone have any tips about what to do and where to go on a saturday night in busan?
i'm also hoping to swing over to geoje-do and we-do while i'm there, both of those islands sound pretty interesting to me, especially the juicy bars and abandoned amusement park of geoje-do.

Nothing. The first day of the holiday is my birthday, the second is our anniversary, and my boyfriend isn't visiting anyone for Chuseok. A whole span of time to myself.
Ahhh, bliss. |

Fill the car with gas and foreigners, drive out of the city in a random direction, and see what happens. |

Its often advertised as the Korean tropical paradise. If you go expecting that you will certainly be disappointed. Despite that, Its quite a nice island.
Avoid the package tours they don't give you much freedom and they tend to spend most of their time at touristy places where the guides get kickbacks from merchandise perchased. Give the Orange farm and the folk village a miss as they just want to flog their products on you.
Rent a car and drive around the beautiful volcanic coastline. Enjoy raw fish with sitting on a volcanic stone. Go see the sunset rock. Go into a cave. See the bizarre cylinder shaped rocks. |

Tongyeong for a couple of days followed by a couple of days in Pusan. Been to neither so I'm looking forward to it, although I suspect most of the time will be spent on the lash talking rubbish. |
